Frequently Asked Questions

  • How are you addressing Covid-19?
We understand that Covid-19 is an ever-changing situation. We are monitoring local mandates and CDC guidelines to inform our decisions. One of the reasons we are meeting together outside is to mitigate the possibility of transmission. We will not require people to wear masks during the service, but anyone is free to wear them if they are more comfortable. Additionally, feel free to bring a blanket or chair and sit outside the pavilion if you’d prefer more space between you and the group.
  • How are you addressing Covid-19 in regard to the kid’s classes?
We will have all teachers of the kid’s program wear masks just to provide that extra level of safety and security for our children. Furthermore, as children are signed into the class, we will be using a touchless thermometer to check every child’s temperature.
  • What should I expect when I come to church?
You should expect to be warmly greeted and treated like family. Each week when we come together we take the Lord’s Supper, hear the Word of God preached and sing all kinds of songs (we love to sing!) We will hang out after church, talking, connecting and just being together.
  • Do you have a children’s ministry?
Yes we do! Click here for more info.
  • I see that you are meeting at a park and that the location may change week to week. How will I know where to find you?
We will be meeting outdoors until mid-October and then we will begin renting indoor somewhere in the city. We keep our Calendar updated so you can find our location there week to week. We will be together at Southeast Area Park in Ann Arbor all but the last two weeks of August. Those weeks we will be meeting at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor. When you pull into the parking lot at either location you will see our signage and some people that will happily direct you to our group.
  • Do you have a college ministry?
Yes we do! We have college students active at both University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University. You will find all college ministry activities listed on our calendar, but the best way to connect is to contact us or come to church and connect in person.
